When is my Annual Report due?

Filing your Annual report on time is a critical part of maintaining your business's good standing, but this process can vary significantly from state to state.

Some states require annual reports, while others mandate biennial filings, and in some cases no report is needed at all. The due date for these reports can either be tied to your LLC's formation anniversary or set to a specific date determined by the state. Understanding these differences is essential for timely and accurate compliance with state regulations.

Upcoming Report Due Date

The due date of your annual report varies depending on the state of your LLC. No worries, before your next report due date, you will receive an email from us. This email will include:

  • Validate Missing State Fees: Confirm any missing state fees that need to be charged.
  • Update Report Details: Ensure all report information is current and accurate before filing with the state.

If your LLC has any future reports due, you can see the next upcoming due date in the Annual Compliance section of your LLC dashboard.

Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Log into your Tailor Brands account
  2. If you've opened multiple businesses in your Tailor account, make sure to select the correct one by clicking 'Account' in the top right corner and then 'Switch business'.
  3. Select your purchased business
  4. From here, click on the 'LLC' option in the left-side menu
  5. Open the 'Annual Compliance coverage' tab.

You can track your upcoming expected filings by looking at the "Filings Due" date as shown below:

Keep in mind that the status of your LLC annual report may change according to state-specific regulations. For the most up-to-date and accurate status, we recommend referring to the official state website.
