How do I set up a blog?

A blog is a great opportunity to reach your users, share your content, and constantly update your website. Through our Website Editor Tool, you can easily set up a blog and add posts.  

In order to set up your blog, follow these simple steps: 

  1. Click on Blog from the left-hand menu within your Website Editor
  2. Select Blog Settings
  3. Add a blog name to the field

This name will be displayed on the site as the title of the All Posts widget.

From here, there are two different editing modes: Layout Mode and Post Mode.

Layout Mode

You can set the structure for both your current and future blog posts in the Layout Mode. Moreover, you will be able to set your blog post's title, author, image, and more.

You can access the Layout Mode by clicking on Blog in the left menu and then select Edit Layout.

Post Mode:

This mode allows you to write and edit individual blog posts.  You can choose the content of each post, and add any features you wish! 

*Note that in both modes, when making edits, you must republish in order for them to be seen. 

How To Set A Blog RSS Feed:
  1. Click on Blog from the left-hand menu within your Website Editor
  2. Click on Blog Settings
  3. Add a title and a description to the RSS Feed Details area
  4. Once your site is published, the RSS feed will be auto-generated
How To Set A Blog Thumbnail:
  1. Click on Blog from the left-hand menu within your Website Editor
  2. Click on Blog Settings
  3. Click on the thumbnail box which will take you to the site image picker
  4. Select image
