Domain vs Website Hosting

Hosting Your Website on a Domain You Purchased with Us
Hosting is the service that makes your website available online. It involves storing all the files, images, and code that make up your website on a server, so visitors can access it from anywhere.

There are two types of hosting to understand:

1. Website Hosting

Website hosting is the service that stores your website’s content and makes it live on the Internet.

✅ We provide website hosting exclusively for websites created on our platform. This is already included in the Basic, Standard, Premium, or Elite plan—no extra setup needed.

❌ If your website was created elsewhere, we cannot host it on our servers. However, you can still connect your external website to a domain you purchased with us by updating your DNS settings.

2. Domain Hosting

Domain hosting is different from website hosting. It refers to managing everything related to your domain name—such as DNS records (NS, A, CNAME, etc.) that point your domain to your website or email.

✅ We provide domain hosting for domains purchased through our platform.

This means that:

  • If you built your website with us, we host it for you and can connect it to your domain.

  • If you built your website elsewhere, we cannot host it, but we can connect your domain to your external website by updating the DNS records.

Here’s how to connect your domain to an external website.
